Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
Last Thursday evening (16th January) the Big Telly crew attended the Allianz Arts and Business awards in The Lyric Theatre, Belfast along with our fabulous partners Enniskillen BID.
Among all the glitz and glamour, we were fortunate enough to actually win an award! The Creative Community Engagement award recognized the not so subtle ways we worked with the BID team to engage the community, general public, traders and unsuspecting shoppers in Fermanagh’s island town through two distinct projects.
We had so much fun bringing Big Telly madness to Enniskillen, first with ‘Operation Elsewhere’, an interactive treasure hunt/adventure game in 2018, and then with our two Creative Shops in 2019.
And we couldn’t have asked for better partners than the team at Enniskillen BID, without whom we never would have won this award. It’s always a pleasure to work with organisations that just get it and have the courage to invest in arts and culture. BID manager, Noelle McAloon’s unfailing support and enthusiasm for the projects meant we could help bring arts back into the heart of the community in Enniskillen.
A nice shiny award is now proudly on the shelf .. and we look forward to more partnerships in 2020/21. Watch this space – there’s room for more silverware!
Huge thanks to Allianz and Arts & Business NI for their support.
