The Aftermath of The Worst Café in The World
As the dust settles on The Worst Café in The World, based in Cotton Court on Waring Street, Belfast, we would like to thank all our amazing partners that made this project a success: The Arts Council of Northern Ireland http://www.artscouncil-ni.org, Department for Communities https://www.communities-ni.gov.uk, Cathedral Quarter BID https://www.cathedralquarterbelfast.com/destination-cq and Arts & Business https://www.artsandbusinessni.org.uk.
Tickets sold out quickly, and the matinee performances seemed to be the first to go, perhaps indicating a new way that the people of Belfast enjoy consuming their theatre.
Audiences delighted in the one hour show, produced as part of Belfast International Arts Festival 2019 (https://belfastinternationalartsfestival.com), and their brilliant feedback is rolling in.
A big thank you to our cast Keith Singleton https://www.keithsingleton.ie, Christina Nelson and Nicky Harley for their stellar performances, our creative team, Ryan Dawson Laight http://www.ryandawsonlaight.com, Garth McConaghie http://www.composergarth.com, Zoe Seaton, Vittoria Cafolla and Sinead Owens and production crew Chris Hunter, Conal Clapper and Alan Mooney for their part in what was an amazing and fun show.
If you missed the Worst Café in the World, or simply fancy catching it again (we won’t say anything!), the show will be on tour in Northern Ireland in March. Keep an eye on our website for more details.
And if you need more convincing, have a nosey at these fabulous reviews!
