Step back to wartime...Ballymena
The Mid-Antrim Museum in Ballymena, in conjunction with Big Telly Theatre Company, has developed a programme containing a mix of workshops and small improvised story-telling performances.
Four actors will each develop a role based on key characters living in Ballymena during World War II. The cast consists of an Air Raid Warden, a wartime Housewife, a Gibraltarian and a member of the Home Guard who will stage small improvised story-telling performances within the museum on Saturday 11th, Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th April from 2pm-4pm.
Performances are open to the public and are free of charge so every one is welcome to come along!
Workshops, facilitated by cast members, are also available to both schools and the general public. For more information, or to book a place on one of the workshops, please telephone the Museum on 028 2565 7161.
Step back to wartime...Ballymena has been funded by the Big Lottery’s Their Past Your Future Programme, administered by Northern Ireland Museums Council.                                   www.thebraid.com
