Summer Workshops 2008
Big Telly is pleased to announce its programme of Summer Workshops for 2008 which can fit into fun days, activity weeks and summer festivals in your community. We are delighted to be working with more workshop leaders to offer a wide variety of one or half day workshops to suit your requirements.
Stilt walking, juggling and general clowning around! Venue should have a high ceiling to accommodate stilts!
This energetic dance workshop allows you to create your own dance routines, with the guidance of a professional dance facilitator.
Pop up Book (6-8 years)
In this workshop we will play. With well known characters of the day! Lift your nose from that book. And join the adventure that they took. With every turn of the page. Letís bring the story to our stage.
Dressing Up Box (6-8 years)
Younger children will enjoy this fun-filled workshop with the big dressing up box, stories and lots of imagination.
Now you see it, now you donít, magic tricks to boggle your mind! The inexplicable is explained in this cloak and dagger magic session.
An eclectic mix of rhythms from around the world (Cuban, Arabic, Brazilian, African etc) and junk percussion make this a lively and exuberant workshop.
A unique workshop designed for teenagers. This workshop will explore current songs through drama, focussing on stories, characters and dramatic potential contained within different styles of contemporary music. No music ability required Ė just imagination and energy.
Exercise your voice! During the workshop we will explore our voice, from tone to volume and discover what impact it can have on text.
A good all-round drama workshop incorporating games and improvisations to create your own story.
