National No Smiling Day - Protest

An urgent protest has been organised by Big Telly Theatre Company, Mill Strand Integrated Primary School and Damhead Primary School to protest against the ridiculous amount of smiling going on in Coleraine.

Primary 1 to Primary 7 pupils from Millstrand and Damhead Primary School have joined forces to take part in a week long comedy festival for children called Laughing Matters. Workshops in circus skills, physical comedy and joke-telling were led by four shameless street-theatre entertainers Dr Palfi the Consultant Laughologist, The Astounding Grundy Brothers and Janice Phayne, stand up comedian for children. But now the laughter has stopped, it's time to put an end to all this laughing, giggling and chortling going on.

Please join us in our demonstration to eliminate comedy from the streets of Coleraine. If you see Dr Palfi the Consultant Laughologist, The Astounding Grundy Brothers or Janice Phayne, the stand up comedian, trying to make people laugh, don't fall under their spell.
